I’m Ian.

I am an independent brand design consultant. As a creative leader, I love exploring the edges of how brands create compelling conversations and build authentic connections with the world.

I spent 20 years at the global design firm, IDEO, where I was a Partner building, driving, and directing its brand practice. Over the years, I worked with clients spanning multiple industries including - Samsung Memory, Kate Spade New York, Cadillac Fairview, Right Rice, Orbia, Marriott International, Acer and Havaianas, to name a few.

A graphic designer by training, my work spans brand vision & strategy, visual identity systems, art direction, filmmaking, retail & experience, packaging, environmental graphics and print.
